What club to choose…
Golf Video Tip
Choosing the right club is an important part of the swing.
It doesn’t matter the level of the player, proper club selection is an issue that stumps the vast majority of my students.
So I thought it would be a good idea to dive into the topic and discuss how it relates to your short game.

The Perfect Connection Golf Swing Works
** Arnold Palmer’s Caddy – Endorser of the The Perfect Connection Golf Swing **
As a former professional caddie (at Pebble Beach for 10 years, inducted into the Professional Caddie Association Hall of Fame in 2003 and was Mr. Arnold Palmer’s caddie for four years)and as a golf instructor, I’m simply amazed at the results realized today. Because of a bad back, your theory was of interest, so I watched your series of training snippets for the past week and today, I hit a bucket for the first time in three months. After a few rehearsed swings and stretching, I hit a pitching wedge and alternated with even numbered clubs to the driver. Every driver hit was either a draw or went straight, but what impressed me the most, was the simplicity of turning and releasing the club (with the body,NO ARMS AND HANDS!). I stayed connected thru-out, your athletic set-up made “timing” easier and tomorrow, I will wait to hear what my back has to report. And interesting enough, while hitting, I listened to a teaching “pro” work with an student re: spine angle, pronation, etc. all the terminology required to confuse, not teach and the “pro” didn’t even realize the guy was performing a reverse pivot at the completion of the backswing! So, I’m on board as an avid endorser and I’m glad I somehow found you over the internet. keep up the good work.
best wishes – Scott Houston.

We prefer you order online as Damon WILL have trouble answering all of the calls. We can not take no responsibility for those who delay around and can’t get an order in before the sale closes, we have tried to give fair warning of the limited amount of copies available.
If you’ve ever tried any of those golf video instruction materials that never quite live up to their hype…
It’s high time you tried the one that not only GUARANTEES you lower scores with less pain … but even gives you a FULL YEAR to prove it!
You see the traditional golf swing being taught by mainstream instructors simply doesn’t work for the average amateur golfer.
If you don’t believe me, then consider this…

who virtually live and breathe golf 24/7.
But regular folks have real-life responsibilities and families to care for. “Some of us” even have a little extra chub hanging around our middles that tends to get in the way of swinging like a Tour Pro’.
And as life goes on… it doesn’t get any easier.
That’s why I developed the PerfectConnection Golf Swing. It was designed from the ground up with the help of PGA tour doctors, chiropractors, and sports wellness experts.
What makes the PerfectConnection swing so special? It’s because I took the time and trouble to analyze the swing faults of hundreds of amateur golfers … put them under a 3-D motion golf “microscope” … and came up with a swing regular guys can repeat over and over again. You don’t have to be as flexible as a monkey or built like Tiger Woods to get maximum distance, accuracy, and consistency.
Are you really getting noticeably better using the traditional golf swing that’s been taught for years? Is your score dropping? Or has your game hit a plateau … while your back, neck, and shoulders get steadily worse?
The stats say you’re probably in the same boat with about 20 million other golfers. So stop beating yourself up over it! The problem isn’t you – it’s the traditional golf swing.
Join the PerfectConnection “Rebel-ution” and start playing
better golf … quickly, easily, and painlessly
on the most popular golf training programs available.
Again most golfers, don’t believe you can get better and its this self sabotaging attitude that truly stops you from enjoying this wonderful game.

Hi C.J. , love the DVDs, I feel like i am making progress, to early in the season as yet. Our league starts 5 May and have high hopes, for some good games and bringing that ave down to under 50. My question is this?
When you are on the fringe of the green, our fringes is about 4 feet wide and not mowed very well. When the pin is about twenty to twenty five feet away, i always have trouble trying to decide which club to use? Pitching Wedge, less than a quarter of a swing, Lob wedge less than a quarter of a swing? or a putter? Normally the grass is not mowed so when i use a putter it bounces up and down and you lose any chance of it going where you want to. I also know every course is different, and temps, and smoothness of green etc, but is there a general rule of thumb of which club to use when you are that close??? PS the L to L is coming nicely, keeps it in the middle of fairway, and the 2 to 1 and dont burn yourself with the laser all prove to be working out nicely, i feel much more confident in myself. thanks again Brian Wilson hammering the average down to 45 at least before the end of the season.
Brian Wilson,
Thanks for the question Brian. Brian, please take my bet. I guarantee you…or bet you five bucks that if you watch my short game DVD and practice what and how I say for three times a week for two weeks that within a month you will shoot below 43. I would say in the 30′s which I think is possible, but I need a little bit of cushion for our bet. IF you do that and do not I will personally send you the 5 dollars. Take my bet. I am here to answer your questions and help you along the way. To answer your question I would putt the ball at your level until you learn the ratio system that I cover in my short game DVD and you learn the setup. Remember at your handicap and most peoples handicaps a bad putt is better than a bad chip. Please take my bet and work hard and I promise the work will pay off. If you have my dvd’s and do not have the Short Game DVD then please call Damon and he will get that specific DVD to you as quickly as possible. Please write me back and let me know if the bet is on. Talk to you soon.
Keep em Long and Straight,
CJ
Hi CJ. I’ve bought your DVDs and they are great. However there is one problem I need your advice on. I hit the ball quite well. but with my driver in particual, no matter what I try, I over-swing in my backswing. I don’t with my practice swings but when hitting the ball, I cannot stop the overswing. I do follow your method of starting the backsing by keeping the ‘y’ intack etc, but I think I bend my left arm too much at the top (have a little restriction in my left shoulder due to football injury). Is there some method/drill that will help ? I’ve searched utube and found many people who advise on this, but nothing has helped so far.
cheers
Nick
PS good luck on the weekend
Nick Kwanten,
Thanks for the question Nick. First to answer your question this could have many answers. Due to your shoulder injury you cannot support the club with your muscles…therefore your arms bend and lift the club to the top. You may feel strong, but if your shoulder cannot support the weight then this will happen. Second, try to keep your right arm connected by placing a glove under your right armpit. See if this helps. Also use a video camera as your help. Every golfer that has a long swing struggles to find the correct feel. Your feel and real are two different things. To shorten your swing to the correct place would require you to feel a half swing. Use the camera as proof that it is not a half swing, but your feel will be 1/2. Finally if that doesn’t help I would use no wrist hinge(as a feel, again feel vs real) and feel like the club is pointing to the sky in your backswing…again use the camera for reassurance that this is correct. please let me know if this helps. there are many things we can do, but lets start here.
Keep em Long and Straight,
CJ
