    Hi CJ;

I would like to compliment you on your teaching style, clear and concise. I do have a question on stance width however. Longer clubs outside shoulder width, medium shoulder width, and wedges inside shoulder width. Is this measured from the inside of the feet? Also, do you have a catalogue available featuring all of your teaching products?

    Thanks, Rod

    • CJ Goecks says:

      Rod,
Thanks Rod for the question. Yes I would measure the stance width from the inside of the feet like you said. I currently do not have a catalog with the products, but that is a great idea. I will send this idea to my partner and we will see what we can do. please email shannon@perfectconnectiongolfswing.com and she can send you a list of all the products.

  4. Michael Nigara says:

CJ, I just recenty started the PerfectConnection golf instruction, and have seen much imporovement. I used the Go to Shot instruction on every hole with amazing success. The 6 under 6 over putting drill helped alot on my familier course with slow to average speed greens. How ever this past week I played for the first time on a new to me private course with undulating very fast greens. I had a very poor putting round mostly due to not being able to figure out the speed of these greens. I 3 putted four times on the front nine. Would have shot a 39 if I 2 putted those four 3 putt holes. Played another 18 and still couldn’t get the speed figured out. HELP! Thanks, Mike N

    • CJ Goecks says:

      Michael Nigara,
Thanks Michael for the comments. I am happy to hear of your success and your hard work on the drills. Sometimes its hard to go to a new course and apply what you learned. My first question would be, if you warmed up properly and spent some time on the green before? If thats the case then great and if not then try to learn from your round. Should you be thinking about defensive putting that day. Remember my 3 factors that go into making a putt and speed is related to practice. It may take a few times to be able to adjust, but if your learning than I know you will be better next time. Keep me informed and thanks for the post.
      Keep em Long and Straight,
      CJ

      • Michael Nigara says:

Hi CJ, Thanks for your comments. I did not warm up properly that day. I did not have much time before tee off. I think I was mostly to defensive that day. Anyway I’m going to grab the Perfect Connection Putting Series. I look forward to learning how to put better. I will keep you informed.
        Mike N

  5. Michael C. Stewart says:

CJ, I am very impressed with your instructional material. I have started to use your techniques and have found remarkable success. I am shooting in the 90′s at present. I just like to improve in all areas of the game. I am experiencing a minor problem with my irons. Not so much with the wedges and shorter irons, mostly 5,6 and 7 irons. I am somehow hitting behind the ball about an inch or two. i have a tendency to “muscle” the club on the downswing sometimes, I know that is bad. But, even when I try to develop a good rhythmn. I sometimes still hit behind the ball. I have rechecked my setup, alignment and swing. Obviously there is something I am missing. Can you advise? Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
    Michael C. Stewart.

    • CJ Goecks says:

      Michael C. Stewart,
Thanks for the comments and congrats on your success lately. If your hitting the ball heavy then I want you to look at your setup. make sure your right hip is low. the reason I am saying this is it does not sound like your getting to your left side through impact properly. In my video I refer to this as the triple stacked position. Check your right hip at impact however because if your not getting the proper body motion in the backswing then there is no way to shift your weight to the left at impact and through the follow through. Let me know if this helps and we will figure this out together.

      CJ

Hi,as we know that putting is also depend much on “the feel factor” when we do our putt beside the basic fundamental in putting. but, most of the time this feel factor doesnt exist at all thru out 18 holes…any tips to share

    • CJ Goecks says:

      Aly,
have you seen my putting DVD? If not I truly recommend it as I am not sure what you mean by “feel factor”. I am not trying to be difficult here as I know what your trying to convey, but if you have seen my video I think you will understand the three factors that go into making a putt. I also am working on bringing a new revolutionary concept to perfect connection about putting, but that is a couple of months out. Keep watching and lets talk about the feel factor. Looking forward to hearing from you.
      Keep em Long and Straight,
      CJ
