Will you be showing how to read the greens and putting as well as the short game?
Bill Pike,
Thanks Bill for the question. Each day you will receive different videos and yes we will cover reading greens, putting technique and short game, but I do not know when each of those videos will be released. Best wishes.

Oh, I think this video is really helpful. I feel very interested in playing Golfn now.
How does your Perfect Connection Golf Swing defer from Don Trahan’s Swing Surgeon style (superficially I see a lot of simularities.
Donald Moore,
Thanks Donald for the question. The similarities between Don Trahan’s swing and mine are few. I use the term 3/4 width and Don uses the term 3/4 but thats about all that is similar. Even that is a major difference. Don’s grip is different. I teach a grip for your body and only your body. OUr setups are different. Don teaches a vertical swing, while I use shoulder plane. Our downswings are different also. Impact is different also. Don teaches to hit up on the ball, while I teach a downward impact. A major difference is the use of wrist hinge. Don promotes no wrist hinge while I emphatically state that you need wrist hinge. This is just the start. I would be happy to answer more questions if you have them as this is just the start.

cj, have started watching your video,s and find them very inspiring do you think your technique would work for me i am right handed but taught as a junior to play left handed as have a left leg that is artificial. it was felt i would be better coming on to my right good leg..however i have started playing after many years of the game i hit poorley inconsstant and and pretty weak no distance my short irons can be ok but long irons and woods are terrible…when i play a shot my left leg is locked out straight and tend to weight transfer on to left leg then on to front (right)… irons i tend to play with most weight on right foot front…would appreciate any comments adivice even if its to go back to right handed playing !!
regards
JJ
Jonathan,
thanks for the question JJ. I can help. First let me ask…Can you put weight onto your left leg and push off of the leg or not? Lets keep talking and I can get you on target. Second, I want you to work on the L to L drill. This will teach the proper motion of the arms. Your feet are together and there is no weight transfer. Let me know if this helps.

I’ve just started to play again with confidence after watching these instructional dvd’s and I have to admit I’ve shot 4-7 strokes lower in my last two rounds …I wouldn’t have believed that easier is better .Much less soreness after practice and my long irons are I hate to use the word so much purer right off the facee Mahalo for your kokua p[help and I’ll be buying the dvd’s this paycheck as I’m strapped for cash now HLM
Mr. CJ, I’ve viewing your free online mini clinics and have thought about buying the dvds. I just have one question: How more indepth are the dvds?
P.S. sorry ’bout any of the spelling/gramattical errors
Nick,
Thanks for the question Nick. Please give me the opportunity to help you. I go into great depth to explain the swing, but make it super simple to understand. I hope you get the dvd’s and keep me informed on your progress.

Hi Nick,
I’ve bought the DVDs and I must tell you I love the way CJ presents the instructions, it’s very simple and user friendy. Each sequence of the swing is presented (I like that very much, I really needed this), some very useful tips and drills are also included. I very much recommend the DVDs, they have changed my attitude to golf in a very positive manner
.
Andreja Jenko,
Thank you for the nice comments and I am glad that you gave me the opportunity to help you in your game. Keep up the good work and let me know how I can help you.

My pleasure. I’ve got to say this; my attitude to golf has been slowly but surely changing from struggling to enjoyment. And you deserve the credit for this.
Andreja jenko,
thank you so much for that kind praise, however I am here to help and guide you. You deserve the credit for working on your game patiently and trusting in what I am teaching. I guess we can both take a bow, but yours should be bigger. Congrats and keep up the great work.

Hi Cj,
I have been playing golf for only two weeks now (i know a complete newbie), i got myself a starter set, i think i’m doing okay. I have played a few rounds with my friends and i practice chipping and putting in my garden everyday after work. I really need to work on my driving though. I’m having serious issues, the ball goes the distance (about 200-250 yards) but about 80 yards in it shoots off to the right and i end up a long way from my intended target. How can i remedy this. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Lew
Lewis Thomas,
Thanks Lewis for the question. keep working hard and it will come. As for now I do want you to continue to have most of your focus on the short game area as this will get you to improve the quickest. Second in regards to the driver make sure you have 60% of your weight on your right hand side and have your spine tilted slightly to the right. Do this and work on the split hand drill to get the feeling of your hands releasing through the shot and that will eliminate your slice. let me know how this works and keep me informed.
Keep em Long and Straight,
CJ
